* HOW TO PRODUCE SANTA LETTERS *
Before your orders start pouring in, you need to set up your
database and form letters and order your Christmas stationery.
Lucky for you, Santa Letters 2.0 includes the names, phone,
and fax numbers of many paper suppliers. SANTA LETTERS 2.0
also includes a buyer database and a child questionaire
database and form letters (Works for Windows). You can use
the enclosed files or start from scratch and design your own.
You need to be prepared to start mailing out the children's
letters at the beginning of December, so it is best to have
everything already set up when the orders start filling your
mailbox.
Open the database in Works for Windows. When order forms
start arriving, enter the child's information in your database.
In this way, you will be ready to print the form letters on the
Christmas stationery the first week or two of December. Then just
fold, stuff into envelope, stamp, and mail. You can also decorate
each envelope with clip art or stickers, use special Christmas stamps,
or use red envelopes. Some people like to get the North Pole postmark
on the letters, but this is optional.
However, before you can start receiving orders, you will need to
print the flyers, brochures, letters, and order forms that are
provided with Santa Letters 2.0. You will also probably like to order
some nice Christmas papers. Call or write the paper suppliers
whose names and phone numbers are included with Santa Letters 2.0
for samples and a catalog.
